Espresso kitchen with a quartzite island
Dark shaker cabinetry set against a pale quartzite island, built so the room reads warm rather than heavy.

Speckled white granite run across the perimeter and the peninsula, with a matching splashback rail.
This was a countertop replacement rather than a full remodel, which is a job where the seam placement matters more than anything else. The slabs were laid out so the join falls where the eye does not travel, and the veining carries across it rather than stopping dead.
A matching stone rail was run behind the counters instead of a tiled splashback, which keeps the surface continuous and makes the whole run far easier to wipe down. The existing cream cabinetry was kept, so the stone had to be chosen to work with what was already in the room.
Every project on this page was designed, fabricated and installed by our own team.
